Travel & Stay

Wedding festivities will take place at the historic Hycroft Manor in Vancouver, B.C. The venue is located 30 miles north of the US/Washington State-Canadian border. If you would like to take a virtual tour through the manor, please see this wonderful video.

Hycroft seemed the perfect location to gather our dear friends, aunts, uncles, and cousins for a memorable evening of laughter, love, and delicious food! And don’t we all want to enjoy a night of fun at an estate like Downton Abbey?

  • Pacific Spirit Regional Park offers over 2,000 acres of evergreen forest populated by hundreds of Douglas firs and boasting miles of recreational trails.

  • The Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge spans 160 ft high over the scenic and fir-forested Lynn Creek in North Vancouver. It’s free to access and connects to nature trails.

  • Gastown is the go-to district for taking in the charms of Old Vancouver. This cool neighborhood in the downtown area is dotted with gorgeous Victorian buildings. The cobbled streets are among the city’s liveliest, lined with chic hangouts, art galleries, and colorful souvenir and décor shops.

  • You can enjoy Broadway musicals, concerts, and dance performances shown regularly at the beautiful Orpheum Theatre in Downtown Vancouver. Shows range from Viennese ballets, classical symphonies such as Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, to musical tributes to recent romantic dramas such as La La Land.

  • Visitors to Vancouver in search of live winter sports action will want to book a seat at Rogers Arena to see the Vancouver Canucks home team play some top-level ice hockey.
